Des Bacon Red Hot Syncopators
Steve Graham (t) Des Bacon (reeds) Arthur Vincent (reeds) Malcolm Hurrell (bjo, voc) Richard Willey (sousa) Nick Ward (d) Penn Penngelly (Eb metal cl)
Des leads a talented band, which plays classic jazz, mostly from the late 1920's, featuring tunes recorded by Henderson, Ellington and Clarence Williams, together with original arrangements of popular show tunes. The writing aims to produce the sound of a larger band than the Syncopators, while the playing objective is passion and enthusiasm.
