Over the years the Brennan Jazzband has become an institution. The core of the band has been together since 1961 under Dave’s leadership and has appeared many times in Belgium, Holland, France & Germany, including 2 weeks in Munich for the 1972 Olympic Games. The two USSR tours in the 1990’s took in the major cities of Moscow and St. Petersburg as well as cities such as Ekaterinburg in Siberia.
For many years popular at a number of top UK jazz festivals, the band was the backbone of the Bude Festival in its first few years, and has played every year since their inception at the famous Swanage Jazz Festival, regularly appearing also at Upton-on-Severn and Marsden Festivals.
