The Italian jazz quartet is a fairly new band with an amazing propulsive drive and beatiful modern sound with strong roots. Each member of the band possess an amazingly beautiful sound on his instrument and a great control of dynamics.The collaboration between Renato and Christian goes back to eleven years ago when they met at a Jam in London. Since then they have been playing together and supporting each other . Their saxes together. makes a very beautiful sound.The material offered by this band is a mix of originals and beautifully rearranged standards. The band offer a very engaging show first of all for the compact sound of the band and also because of the impeccabile solos that each one can offer.
Renato D’Aiello has become known as one of the strongest and most original saxophone sounds around. His treatments of jazz standards, and originals, both live and on cd, have won great admiration from audiences and the press. Renato studied with masters such as Sal Nistico, Steve Grossman and Joe Henderson. He has played with great jazzmen like Art Farmer,Sal Nistico, Steve Grossman, Eddie Duran, Kirk Lightsey, Keith Copeland, Duffy Jackson, Tony Scott, Jim Mullen, and many others. He has played in most of the major venues and festivals in the UK, and since May 2002 he has played several times in Paris, receiving warm acclaim from Jazz Hot magazine and TSF radio.
Christian Brewer is a well established alto saxophonist and composer on the UK jazz scene.He has performed regularly at Ronnie Scotts jazz club with his groups for many years as well as leading European jazz festivals and clubs such as Barcelona and Lisbon , and Sevilla and Macau jazz festivals.
