Alan Melly was voted top soloist with the Taverners Big Band on BBC Radio 2's National Competition in 1999. He was also flute soloist with Dudley Moore on Southern TV. Mike Blakesley was with the Gerry Brown Jazzmen in the 1960's when they toured for two weeks with the Louis Armstrong Allstars and has played with Billy Butterfield, Peanuts Hucko, Bud Freeman, Bob Wilber and Yank Lawson. These two charming gentlemen of jazz never fail to please!
